About the role
Sensio is on an exciting growth journey, transforming how we manage and deliver our SaaS offerings in healthcare and welfare technology. We are now looking for two experienced DevOps Engineers to join our Infrastructure & DevOps team.
You will be part of the group responsible for scaling, maintaining, and modernising the infrastructure behind Sensio’s S365 SaaS platform, including Unity, Vista, Insight, and our Dataplatform. We are moving from traditional infrastructure management to Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and Configuration-as-Code (CaC), using tools like Terraform, PowerShell, and Azure Graph. This enables us to automate, scale efficiently, and build highly reliable systems that empower our customers and internal teams.
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will have an immediate impact by supporting our rapid customer growth, enhancing platform reliability, and driving the delivery of new functionality. You will also play a key role in enabling new ways of working across Sensio as we continue to scale.
Where you’ll work
You will be part of our Infrastructure & DevOps team, currently consisting of a Team Lead and three engineers. With your addition, the team will grow to five, with further expansion planned. We collaborate closely within the team and across various development teams to ensure our infrastructure supports Sensio’s ambitious product goals.
Location: Sensio HQ - Møllergata 4, Oslo (with flexibility for hybrid work).
What you will do
- Build and operate cloud-native infrastructure on Azure and on-prem environments.
- Manage Kubernetes clusters, SQL/Postgres databases, Redis, and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps and GitHub Enterprise).
- Migrate existing services to IaC and CaC using Terraform, PowerShell, and automation frameworks.
- Implement and maintain robust observability solutions (monitoring, logging, alerting) to ensure high reliability and proactive operations.
- Support and improve our CI/CD pipelines to enable smooth and reliable deployments.
- Collaborate with product teams to ensure infrastructure meets current and future scalability needs.
- Maintain high operational standards, ensuring platform reliability, security, and compliance.
- Facilitate new teams and ways of working to enable delivery of new functionality as we grow.
Who you are
We believe you are a skilled engineer who takes ownership, thrives in a collaborative environment, and enjoys solving complex infrastructure challenges.
We’re looking for someone with:
- Deep expertise in at least one core area: Kubernetes, IaC with Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, or cloud operations.
- Hands-on experience with Azure and hybrid cloud environments.
- Outstanding communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong sense of ownership and responsibility.
- Comfortable working as an individual contributor focused on delivering results.
- Fluency in English. Norwegian is a plus.
What we offer
- The opportunity to work on products that improve thousands of lives.
- A chance to shape Sensio’s infrastructure and platform capabilities during a period of major transformation.
- The opportunity to take ownership of specific areas, becoming a domain expert and trusted advisor.
- Daily collaboration with diverse engineering teams.
- A role where your approach and values will help define how we collaborate, learn, and support each other within the team.
- Hybrid work options and a culture built on trust and flexibility.
